Tommy Singer, 1938-2014, was known around the world for his wonderful designs and superb craftsmanship as a silversmith. His overlay pieces incorporated the most traditional of Navajo design - designs that have endured for years and years. Many of these designs are of Navajo rugs and other traditional designs. He used sterling silver, 18 carat gold and natural stones in his creations. Tommy's storyteller cuffs or bracelets tell the story of village life in the desert of the Native American Indians showing the mesas (rock platforms with flat tops), the weaver, the corn grinder, the horses and cart and the hogan (round dwelling) seen around Arizona. He will be missed.
